At the very heart of the Pilates method is the principle of self-care. 

Stress-relieving, rejuvenating, and relaxing– not only is Pilates one of the most versatile exercise forms, but it is also one of the most enjoyable and therapeutic. No matter what your reason may be for practicing Pilates, it can also be one of the greatest expressions of self-care. 

If you are looking for an exercise to improve both your body and mind, you found it. Not only does it build strength, power, and flexibility, but the controlled movements give your brain a boost too. Each movement, no matter how small, requires that you focus on the movement in detail, including the sensations you experience and you’re breathing.  As a result, Pilates will improve your focus and mindfulness, while also creating a strong core to carry you through.
